The only thing more annoying then getting some random song and stuck in your head is being a person in close proximity to you that has to hear you hum and sing that random song over and over and over again.. I’m one of the most annoying people to be around sometimes due to my passionate recreation of short phrases from songs. I never sing the full song, just very distinct parts like the hook to a Spice Girls song.

            Today I caught myself singing without thinking about it at all. It took me a minuet to figure out what the words were after I realized what I was doing. Turned out it was the “Yipikaaya!” part of Riders in the Sky, mixed with the part of that T-Payne song that goes” “We in the beeeeed like: Eww! Ewww! Eww!” You can only imagine how annoying this really was.

            The question was: why? Why had my mind chosen to combine those two songs into the most annoying mash up ever? I don’t even think they are in the same key. Infact the difference in tune and feel is what makes the mash up so annoying. Maybe I had just heard T-Payne on the radio but where the hell did the Riders on the Storm come from? Strange and very annoying stuff. Ask my co-workers.
