Brass Mafia has been in the studio adding tracks to the demo CD we’ve been selling over the past 6 months. We recorded 6 new tunes at Coast Recorders in May, including 4 new originals (Election blues II, Rockin Ya , Drunk as Doug, Not Standard) plus adam’s remix arrangement of Janet Jackson’s "Nasty" featuring Emily Schmidt, "You Belong To My Heart" featuring Pat on vocals and "Ode To Joe" written by our pal Gabe Eaton.

Guest spots include the vocals of Dublin, Daymitreeus and Orukusaki plus the percussion of Matt Lucas and Evan Francis. The tracks are currently being mixed and the goal is to get the cd out before our Fillmore Jazz festival performance on Sunday, August 1st. The album will include the 7 new songs plus about 5 or 6 of the songs from the session we did in late 2006.
