Last night we played in Sellersville, PA and tonight was in Alexandria, Virginia. Joe cracked Rich’s back, Rich returned the favor and Adam experimented with new camera angles on stage. Tonight was the biggest turnout of the tour so far. Last night was the smallest turnout so far. Both nights were fun but nothing compares to the Birchmere in Alexandria. The venue boasts a killer sound system, big stage, giant room, and a backstage that has most of the comforts of home. The food (I had BBQ Ribs) was super good. It was good to see many people who had also been at various other New England area shows – shout out to y’all! If you look at the roster at Birchmere, it is like a who’s who of the best touring acts in the U.S.. If you are ever in that area it is worth your while to check to see who is performing there. Also heard some funny stories about the show that had happened there the night before – Some guy named Michael Bolton? We heard that Michael Bolton had a really nice lighting show. We also heard his horn section was HOT and could PLAY. They have us beat there.

Last night’s highlight: The Sellersville theater hooks the bands up with food at their restaurant and it was super good. I wasn’t hungry cause I had Deep Fried Pork Chops left over from the night before at ram’s Head in Annapolis and had eaten them for lunch. I ordered my food to go from the place in Sellersville, being the seafood freak that I am I got the GIANT SEA SCALLOPS. The guys put them in the fridge in the bus for me and I chowed on them late night; I waited for Thoms to go to sleep to heat them up knowing that he is really allergic to sea food and doesn’t like it. Unfortunately I guess the Scallops tipped over in the fridge for a few minutes and spilled yummy, but smelly seafood juice in the fridge. Today the bus smelled really bad and still does 24 hours later. It doesn’t take much to figure out why there is a “No seafood rule” on the bus now. My bad!

The show ROCKED at the Birchmere! It was my first Dolby concert as well as seeing the Jazz Mafia!! Thank you for putting a wonderful show and being so gracious afterwards mingling with the crowd. I had a great time with Merujo, Sasquach, and Gonzomantis.

    Thanks again!!
