Paul Kim is a very talented vocalist and arranger who has lived in the Bay Area for a long time and has been involved in many great vocal and a capella groups. Paul has also been a regular fan at Jazz Mafia Tuesdays for many years and turned numerous super cool people onto our scene. As soon as I learned of Paul’s plans to move to Germany I knew we needed to get him on stage at Brunos, especially since we’ve never had him perform! Joe Bagale and I are always talking about our mutual love for A Capella music - music not accompanied by any instruments and using only the human voice or body to make sounds but you already knew that right?…So when the idea came to my head for Paul to do something I mentioned it to Joe and BAM! They both worked something out in about 10 minutes. They performed the Bobby McFerrin song “Drive my Car”Here it is

Paul got on the plane for Germany hours later. We’ll miss you buddy!
