Joe has been really busy the past few months working hard with Realistic Orchestra on the Michael Jackson tributes as well as premiering a whole night of orchestral versions of his own music. In addition Joe works every month with his own band and in November performed a concert of 16 Ray Charles songs that Joe re-worked for his own 9 piece band at a sold out show at Amnesia in SF. Here’s some footage of what he’s been up to. First is a clip of Joe and his band performing the Allman Brothers Band’s “Whipping Post” at Coda followed by the often talked about performance of Joe’s “Love Song” at the Palace of Fine Arts in April of 2009 with the 50 piece Jazz Mafia Symphony Orchestra.This video was just added in the past month and is a a thank you to all the people who requested he make the song available.
