Hey peeps! our friend Halvor from Norway visited us again a few weeks back and has returned to his Nordic homeland with a stack of rare vinyl he found in San Francisco. He put together this mix which is 4.5 hours long – It’s a lot of groove stuff from the late 70s and early 80s, which can be a tricky time for the funk cause it got really slicked out and some people don’t really dig that; with that said I really dig what Halvor puts together – He also throws in a lot of good soul/jazz stuff from way back.
