The New Lyrics Born Mixtape “Season Pho” just dropped. The horns are featured on two songs; “Revolution” (J Boogie) and “Bowlegged Lady” which is an outtake from the Everywhere at Once album. Bowlegged lady was one of the most challenging tracks we’ve ever recorded – LB wanted to record as much of the song as possible BACKWARDS. What I did for the horn writing was compose the parts I wanted in notation program, then FLIPPED IT backwards and printed it. We then went to the studio and recorded that parts that were written backwards, then LB FLIPPED it again so that it now was forward again but sounded really weird cause it had been flipped twice by this point. To add to the craziness the guitar part and drums are backwards as well.
